The day at the all-female School of Magic and Science began like any other. That is, until a spat broke out in ten cafeteria between two students about a boy they were both interested in. Professor McGonagle could see tempers flaring so she went to stand by one of the girls arguing, Beth, and her best friend Cindy.

“Calm down,” the Professor said to the other arguing girl, Sabrina, who she knew had freezing powers. Even though some of the girls froze or petrified each other on occasion, Professors were strictly off limits from that sort of thing.

“You’ll be plenty calm frozen with those other two,” Sabrina spat and raised her hands.

The Professor, shocked by this bold threat, raised a finger to admonish the feisty student. And that was her exact pose, mouth open to speak and finger raised, when she was struck by the icy blast and frozen instantly, encased in a block of ice along with the two students alongside her.

Principal Lacey arrived on the scene immediately and was instantly enraged to find one of her professors frozen solid in front of her.
