I decided to do a random render test using official #Lego #Technic and #BIONICLE parts I recreated mostly for rendering. I might 3D print some in new colors, let me know what official parts you want to see in certain colors that they don't come in, and I might try some thingsRelated content

It'd be nice to see the 2003 Matoran torso and back available in lime green, regular green, turquoise, and black. Technically the torso does already come in black because of Rorzakh, but still. It'd also be good to have the following parts available in various colors to go with that:
* Bohrok limbs
* 2x2 bent pin connectors (the kind the 2003 Matoran use for upper legs)
* The 2001/2003 Matoran foot

the render quality is really good.
however i must say, these parts look like Bionicle bootlegs. even if like Bootlegs of high quality.
it's like an uncanney valley... but only for bionicle parts. i think you slighty need to nail down a bit more on their details.
still, not bad at all!

too perfect, probably. this is more notable on the areas near the socket joints. the exo-force arm looks a bit off for the same reason, but just looking at the image for the first time, I thought this was a small pile of ACTUAL lego parts

A good point but I generally don't care about the small details, and they throw off a lot of my measurements when modeling the. I don't mind not having them causing them to look offputing
