How well do 3D printed Bionicle parts actually work? Won't the ball joints become shaved down and loose from being posed?

They work pretty well depending on the model, the 3D printer, and the settings used to print. cdn.discordapp.com/attachmentsโฆ
It is possible for 3D printed parts to scratch official Lego parts if they're not properly made. Resin prints generally are much smoother, so that would be a more viable option if you can afford it and do it safely.
