I really had no idea what I was doing for the entirety of this painting tbh, and there's still some things I want to fix (but don't know how lmfao), but ultimately I'm superΒ happy with how this came out! I don't really paint and I don't really do full backgrounds so this was definitely a learning experience for me c:This is my response to the first chapter of the Walk in the Woods quest at ThoseWhoWentMissing - there's still a few days to get entries into our raffles/etc, so I'd recommend it if you've got the time!
Β I've personally been really inspired by seeing everyone else challenge themselves to work with backgrounds and I'm excited to see how everything else plays out - although I've personally RNGed my choices, and I'd already pre-committed to only doing drawings for chapters 1 and 3 >>Related content

The textures in this are phenomenal (those LEAVES). I love how you portrayed your esk without their super distinctive nature feature but still managed to make them super recognizable!
