Nah, I don't use any fancy colored pencils. XD I actually use the cheap ones, mostly brand's Staedtler (GreenColor for example). Meh, I use a variety of pencils but none of them are expensive ones.

Oh right, wow im suprised, that just shows its not how good the tool is, its how good the artists hand is. That motivates me cause I don't have big bucks to splash out of 72set of prismas

I suppose that's true.

I'd recommend Polychromo. Tested them at school and when I dare to spend some money for a set I might buy.

Yeah, Faber-Castell Polychromos. I'm actually trying to get a set from Ebay right now.

Hmm, mask? Well, I don't usually do just pencil drawings, but if I do need some sort of fixative, as I use soft pastels quite often for coloring large areas and/or backgrounds, I use my mom's or sister's hairspray (as I don't use it myself). XD It works well enough.
Of course a good brand fixative works better but hairspray is a cheaper alternative.
