I think that you did a great job. It's difficullt to not do too much on a painting. I have that problem. I love the tone of her face and the mouth looks alive. The hair is also great.
I wonder what she is thinking about. It's almost as she is watching someone while trying to be invisible. She seemes to want to make contact but she reluctantly just lingers on. Hoping that she herself may be reqogniced.
She might be an introvert trying to reach out but she is afraid that she might be imposing. I think that she is watching the person she loves but are to shy to make herself known.
