On 30th of March, the Madoka Magica DVD has been released in Germany <3 I absolutely love this anime and had to draw a Fanart of it (again)! Homura is my favorite character <3 Her and Madokas story has touched me... so that I had to draw both of them
Used a little reference for the sunset: [link]
Well and I konw I still have to practise with water colors <3 It was lots of fun, though

For my idea I had to wide out the background.
Tools: Water Colors, White Acrylics (for the clouds and the shine thing :3)

When I first faved this, I had no idea as to where the characters were from (past me obviously didn't read descriptions); I just liked the picture because it made me think of my best friends and how I hadn't seen them in so long! Now that I was looking back on my favorites, I realized that I had watched the anime a few years after seeing this, and now I knew the story of these two. I love the coloring in this picture, and it reminds me of how emotional this anime made me when I watched it for the first time. ^^
