Shizuo Heiwajima from Durarara!!Early Christmas gift for ~tigergal43 , I knew she liked Shizuo so I drew her this. :3
One out of the future five drawings I'm making for friends; I'm trying to get a LOT done this month since I want to make a contest deadline and get gifts done on time.

Uhhh, there is this tool in Photoshop that you can mix two or more colors together, so I made the checkered pattern and had a layer below it with a mix of a dark red an the red of the checkers, if that helps.

Oh, I get it. That's pretty easy to do. I was thinking it was some complicated trick where you play with the opacity so you do it in a gradient on one layer (from 100 to 0). >>;
