I tried and it worked for the most part but the hair I switch to doesn't have texture for some reason when i switch it even though its applied the same way and my physics get pretty messed upΒ

Been quite a while since I've done it, I don't even have the program anymore, so I can't help u with the textures. But if i recall correctly it has something to do with it being non-visible anymore. But the physics you gotta put it so that the hair/whatever physics all have the same colour or else it will indeed flip out like you said. You are free to use my model as a guide if you need to compare the two!
