Fai's fluffy coat! And his hood is removable but fixed to the coat. I absolutely love his outfit, his coat and his blue robe under it. He took very long to finish but it was worth the work

*ahem* Now that I've spoken my heart about this doll, let me speak my mind. The delicateness of the whole thing gives the doll the overall impression of a sweet and graceful companion. I love how slender the limbs are! The attention to detail in the clothing is spectacular: The clothes fit over each other perfectly, the facings on the inner coat are pristine, and I just LOVE the furry edging on the outer coat. His hair is all flippy and messy just like in the manga, and his face is absolutely adorable.
What did you use for the eyes? I make dolls, too, but I'm still stuck on the classic button eyes. I'm gradually working in those plastic eyes that come in two pieces--the ones where you have to click them into place.

I use simple pins for the eyes.
When the pins don't have the right color I use nailpolish (
Somehow...that doesn't sound very...artistic. 
For the Medium and Large Loopsies I make I use buttons which I sew/glue on.

The deviation of Yoite and all the comments was deleted (by some mysterious accident =/), so I lost your comment there but I read it before it disappeared: Crocheting a Yoite hat would probably work with the same pattern, only the visor of the cap must be crocheted differently. But the idea is good... I think I'll try it!
Hm...that reminds me of a gray lolita coat I ordered in China (for a very good price). It looks like it's thick but the material is very thin, so it's nothing for cold days. I should make a photo tomorrow.
Here in Germany you can wear a feather filled coat probably three full month

That coat looks like it's really beautiful. It is super thin, but hopefully it's warm enough.

That's the tricky part with that coat. It looks warm and it's pretty long but as soon as it gets under 45Β°F it doesn't warm you at all. But it has an additional cape for the shoulders that keeps away the wind
