HAPPY BIRTHDAY ~NeonMouko !!!

Yes, yes, yes, it's that time of year again! It's 's birthday! I might not have been able to make a birthday picture last year, but even without my tablet and art programs I was determined to at least do something decent for my bestest best friend in the entire world. (Cookies, though a pleasant alternative, are sadly no go for anyone until we get a replacement mixer.)

Originally I intended to draw a very nice picture of Neon's character Shinzui. Unfortunately because I'm coming down with the creeping crud my ability to draw has gone down quality-wise. I kept messing up all the sketches I did.

Finally the deadline came, and it was Neon's birthday and all I had were a couple half-decent Shinzui concept sketch type drawings in Coot style. So what do I do? I fill up the rest of the page with her characters in Coot style as well, along with SD cracky little me's running around to fill up the empty spaces. I also tried to add as much humorous duologue as possible.

Filling it up with copyrights and dates and such wasn't really my intention originally BTW. I did that like I normally do and by the time the page really started filling out I realized how cluttered it made everything. Unfortunately because I had already wrote down the info as I went and it would've just left more smearing erasing them all and there were no real empty spaces to write them all in one neat organized place, I just went with it as best I could.

If this version's hard to read, sorry about that. Some of the text IS a lot smaller than I'd like. I might replace it with the larger version of the pic if enough people ask, which I've already given to the birthday girl, or at least do a transcript, but I'm just too tired *coughcoughlazycoughcough* right now to do that.

Despite the scribbley, sketchy, cramped, and kinda messy way this picture turned out I'm overall pleased with it. It goes with a special theme for a special year, and it has characters I've been meaning to draw for a while. I definitely need to draw them in their own individual pictures sometime. Until then enjoy the clutter pic!

Oh, and fun fact. There's 25 characters in this pic for Neon's 25th birthday, which is on October 25th, with 25 individual copyright notations for each, and 25 dates denoting that they were drawn on the 25th! It was also uploaded on the 25th at 11:25pm Eastern time (10:25pm Central)! Neat, huh? The only thing more appropriate is if the deviation number had 25 in it somewhere. Oh well, still keeps a strong 25 theme anyway.

Also a big thanks to for her drawings of Neon's characters! It made it easier to sketch them all out and make it just in time for the midnight deadline.
