Anny didn't like it when family visited. Usually her older sister got all the attention, and it left her more alone then before. Out of all her family; one relative would give her attention when she rarely visited (Aunt Sue). Some reason her father didn't like his sister Sue. Maybe it could of been her success as a realtor? It didn't matter too her. When Aunt Sue came around she would shower Anny with attention and tell her how beautiful she was. If she didn't believe her, she would feel some sort of pride in her appearance. Specially when brought her too the beauty parlor too get all dolled up.
One day on a bright sunny afternoon, she paused in the hall listening too her Dad yelling at the phone. She could make out her Dad yelling at Sue.... Over custody?! She froze. An and Double N hung in her mind. She told Sue about them, how close they are.. All she had in the cul-de-sac. Thoughts spinded in her mind.; would she have too start all new, Would she be able to keep her friends, why does Sue want too take her? Anny played it off like nothing was heard
The next day Sue came for one of her special visits. Anny wished it could of been more delightful. They chatted and got makeover's. The usual light comfortable atmosphere became heavy. Anny couldn't shake the thought of the whole "custody" issue. Her Dad just grumbled and yelled to himself without explaining a thing. Just as she turned too ask, Sue spoke. Sue spoke in a sweet tone. "Anny, you are a beautiful girl. I know your charm will attract the best prince out there. Who will treat you as the Queen you will become." Anny felt her eyes swell with the shock of words spoken too her. Before she gave a any responce she was dropped off at home. With her Aunt driving out of the Cul-de-sac she only smiled before she went inside.
The next day news struck. Aunt Sue was in a bad car accident. Anny yelled and pleaded for her family too gp too the hospital. They shrugged her off and said things like ;"she is strong", "She won't die", "Who cares." It furiated Anny. She shook in anger as her face became red. Few days passed before the news came by phone. Her mother picked up as she listed in her room. "We are sorry for your lost. Our Doctors did the best they could..." The phone rolled out of her figures while she sobbed. All threw the funeral she cried the hardest out of the family that attended. Her mother and father didn't bother on waiting for her and drove away. She cried and weeped, not noticing a boy who seemed too have just as heavy sarrows like her at a grave near by. He didn't talk just stood by her side and rubbed her back as time passed by.
