Well, black magic is typically offensive in nature with fire and lightning spells while other mages have their specialties. White mages have healing, red mages use both healing and offensive, and blue mages copy enemy abilities to use for later battles.

Not at all! I think all the colors work really well together. The purple and blue with the lightning contrasts perfectly with the orange and red of her outfit. If you had made all the colors too matchy-matchy it would have ruined the effect.
