Ohoho... something to post!Durr.. my English assignment. Har. Our assignment was to depict a character from A Tale of Two Cities using our "artistic, musical, or poetic" skills. It must be recognizable without labeling, so I stuck extra extra lots of "clues" to make the teacher happy. >.> It's Sydney Carton for those that are clueless. ^_^
Being an English assignment, I decided to half-ass it once it was assigned. PahaHA! Hence, the crappiness, and my dislike to the crappiness! But but, I did keep the original sketch and am planning on taking it up again to fixitate and actually make it cool looking. Huzzah!
Err.. I was looking for a hand photo for reference, and ended up using a Da Vinci sketch without realizing it. o.o;; I hope that is o-tay.

I don't think it's crappy. To be honest, it was one of the first things I noticed when I was in the classroom. I like it.

The yellow block is a crappily done VERY BRIGHT window! It's kind of random and FLOATY. >.> Not good sense of "unnniiittyy" (AHHH!! Memories of Mrs. Lesselyong's class. o.o). And the stringy thing is errr.. something like a strand of Lucie's hair. o.O The whole symbolism of Lucie as the "golden thread" that holds all those foos together. And there's some more underlying symbolic stuff which I'm too lazy to explain. HarHar.
As for markers... *drumroll* I USED THE HELLO KITTY MARKERS TOM GAVE ME FOR MY B-DAY! *insert millions X D faces* I don't have those coo markers. >.>

YAY! I've been waiting to see this...T_T. It's beautiful Yuki, even though you are convinced it is crappy. I think you've portrayed Carton perfectly and almost exactly how I see him...CAN YOU READ MINDS??? But yes, I love the shadow and the bold outlines. I love the fellow of no delicacy
