I'm glad you I gave you a new idea to think about c: As for his colors they would be the opposite of what they normally are. I forgot how you do this but there was something you could do on Photoshop I believe that would invert the colors to their opposite. Like red to blue, white to black and so on. So whatever the opposite of pink might be his optic color and whatever the opposite of grey and purple would be for his armor color.
I tried this with my OC a while back and her optics are green. But when I inverted them they were like a pinkish color. So maybe Steelmind's optics would be green? I'll ask my friend what she did and get back to you on it.

I found out from my friend c: You hit ctrl I to invert the colors. So try using that to figure out what will happen if you reverse Steelmind's colors. Also sorry it took me a while to get that info to you
