just pencil for most of it, and then barely editted it with PS: I shaded some areas with a soft grey brush, and then added a layer on top of it, setted as "color", used a gradient on it, so it would color all the grey parts below it.
I hope it's clear enough xD.

first of all the drawing you wanna work in must be in grayscale, the darker the better, because the white parts will always look white 
try it, then show me what it looks like, and if my explanation wasnt clear enough, tell me and Ill put it in other words xDD

LOL I just use a gradient, a common one, and one of those crazy examples phoyoshop has, some gradients have 3 colors or more xD, Im still too simple to try other kind of gradient, besides it's not like I've studied a lot, I just learnt from tutorials LOL.
