Description
As I mentioned in the sketch call A Gift, this is meant to be a gift for my bro in laws g/f because he said she said she liked my work.
Because I am so self conscious about my work I get nervous doing gifts for people and end up not giving it to them.

i wanted to use a lot of color in this picture because his g/f is a really colorful, animated and happy girl. Also, I really like using lots of color to contrast the woman in the picture, Brilae's, sad facial expression. I always draw my character Brilae because well she is the main character of my story and she is just fun for me to draw.

it is quite surreal, as that is my favorire type of picture because it allows complete freedom. I use Jack pines in most of my work for special symbolism, and peacock feathers as well for what they mean to me.
I have a new obssession with humming birds because they are just cute and I like fans...also a new obsession.

I think that is about it...
it is done in colored pencil and white and cream Prisma Color to smooth the whole thing out with a touch of acrylic paints and a tad of PSPing to fix color issues (When will a scanner not kill color?)

Oh yea, I really like her shoe.
