Lucifer and Aurora

The two of them were born as twin angels of light, a boy and a girl. Yet at their birth, it has been prophecied that the boy will posses the biggest power of Light since as far as any records are able to reach. That known, he was dubbed the next Archangel of Light, and given the name Lucifer.
Yet at the time, the ruling Archangel of Light, the twins' older brother Lumen, was still young and everybody was assured that there are still long years before he will give away his post. And so, to make sure that when that happens, his successor will still be young and ready, the Council decided to prepare him - using his twin sister, who was seen as just an 'extra' to him. They transferred half of her lifespan to him, throwing both of their aging cycles out of balance - when the twins were supposed to be thirteen, Lucifer was still nine, while Aurora was reaching twenty.

The sister, crazed by her body speeding way past her mentality, and the injustice done to her, grew to hate both the Council and her twin brother, and vowed to do anything to get revenge on them, even if it costs her her life. She abused her brother through all of his childhood, making him grow insecure and wary of strangers, but there was no way for her to reach the Council, at least for now.
But she finally found it - because when the angels reached the new world, the demons were already there. She made a pact with one of them, ensuring that when she dies, she will join their ranks, and commited suicide. Reborn as a demoness with powers both of angels and demons combined, she soon became the Ruling Queen of hell, and started the first war with heaven.

In the meantime, Lucifer found something that he wasn't supposed to. Looking around the Council's palace, where in the future he would reside, he found Latis, the captured god known as the Lord of Living and Dead, whose life power was used to feed most of the Council's creations. Lucifer, who was victim to a rare disease, making his voice hearable only by a selected few people, whose mind's wavelenght matched his, was heard by Latis, and even though the god was too weak to speak, his thoughts managed to reach the boy. With Lucifer helping him escape, the two fled the new world, getting out of the Council's reach, and ruining their plans for a long time, especially in face of the upcomming war.
