Description
I took the liberty of changing Arturia's swimwear a bit because I take a long time drawing female figure. Drawing clothes on top of them is much easier. And later on, Mo-san will follow her "father"'s footsteps
The next few pages will be on Arturia getting family lessons from "mom" EMIYA.

But really, this page is just trying to show Saber defeating the enemy and indirectly protecting Mordred unconsciously even though she doesn't need to since Mordred can protect herself. This in itself confuses Saber greatly which is the reason why she left without much thought since her mind is in disarray at the moment. We'll get to that in the next page.

Actually since the Archer Arturia because of the summer setting (same personality different class)... but YEAH this is what happens when you have Kiritsugu as master (plus their relationship was already messed up when she was still alive)

isn't Gudao the Master here? I had the impression of him being very close to his team and helping them with their Issues, Paragon!Shepard-style
a relationship that "ended" with Mordred speared and "Arthur" mortally wounded, arkward...

Even with Gudao as her Master, Saber's actions and lines towards Mordred during the summer event was very douchey and made you feel bad for Mordred. I mean, sure, Mordred rebelled against her during her reign as King Arthur but still, Saber was partially responsible for that as well.Β
I wanted Saber to man up and really confront the issue between them in a more positive light which is why I started this comic.
Also, I can't take Gudao's existence seriously since unlike Xavio (Fate/Extra MC), he doesn't have much presence besides the dialogue choices. Xavio at least has those dialogue choices, his inner monologue and the players can see and control him in the game. That's one reason why I don't feel the romantic/waifu moments between Gudao and the female Servants.

Is it just me... or did Arturia really master the "Art of Ignoring People?"

From the interactions between those 2 in Fate/Grand Order, GUDA GUDA Order & Koha-Ace, it's clear that they don't have a healthy relationship. Arturia being dismissive and kind of a jerk to Mordred and Mordred with her unhealthy obsession with Arturia.
Although one can argue that you shouldn't take those 3 examples seriously.

To be honest, even myself went "wow, Arturia's a douche..." when I saw their interaction in Fate/Grand Order, although I guess its just for comedy effect in some random game event. But I still try to rationalize that douchey behavior with their dark history during Arturia's reign as King Arthur. But still.
The main reason I make this comic is to explore the possibility of Arturia stops being dismissive and take that first step to amend the relationship.

Yup, she is watching over Mordred but with some mighty complex feeling. We'll see that in the next page.
As for Mordred, she'll get to bare her side of the story to "dad" in the end. Fittingly, during a battle against said "dad"

Nothing like a good old battle to understand one's feelings, i cant wait to see how EMIYA plays into this, seeing how his past self may or may not had a relationship with Arturia.

Well, I'm not going to delve into Shirou & Arturia's relationship in this comic since it's not relevant to the plot. Plus, I enjoy a more platonic relationship between the 2. So we'll be seeing in that effect with EMIYA. Heh, it's funny how I converted from a fan of romance between Shirou & Arturia to a sort-of-bromance between the 2.
But I am curious on how Mordred will react if she finds out about ShirouxArturia.
