Ah lovely picture. I espeacaly like how you got that sea crashin on the waves, and the angle of the fence is super nifty and adds more dimention to the picture.

Ahh thank you.. Much of the picture was luck, the other part was the technology of 15 shot bursts ^^

Ah the vicious sea...always a sight to behold.
Nicely done, you capture a wave mid way... something a lot of photographers fail to do.

Thank you very much.. It was a lucky shot I guess.. (I had the camera on rapid 15 burst)

That would explain your luck, you're also luck to be in an area such as Victoria where you can catch that wave movement

A bit but only in the coastal areas, I'm more inland... besides, people are too afraid of sharks these days...
I'm just impressed that you managed to capture the wave in motion, the only thing I've managed to get with weather, was snow, back when I was in Hiruzen [link]

Beautiful picture! I love the ocean.. But unfortunately I never see it because of where I live. >.< The closest I can get is a lake, and it's just not the same..

It really isn't.. The roaring of the raging ocean as the waves tear themselves apart on the walls of rocks.. It really helps you realise the beauty of life..

Wow.. that was a beautiful description. And very true. When you look out on the ocean, there's nothing but blue water and sky.. It just feels so.. open, and free. You can't say that about lakes, as beautiful as they sometimes are.

I think lakes are better for serenity.. the gentle lapping around the pier.. you know, that sorta stuff.

Hmm.. I don't think you'd want my lake.. Lake Ontario.. not exactly a serene lake. More just.. ugly. Plus the two steel companies are there so it tends to be smoggy, and polluted. I don't think it's healthy to swim in it either. So many chemicals. I think the lake at my cottage up north is more what you're thinking of.. It's very calm, and beautiful. Surrounded by evergreen trees and such. ^^

Why, yes it is. And from our cottage you can see the sun setting across the lake, so it's even more beautiful at dusk. Picturesque is the perfect word to describe it I think.
