True, very true. I bet a lot of people thought that a love triangle would occur or something, but in the end Natsu still "chose" Lucy, if you put it that way.
Alright, so how do I say this... You seeΒ crack pairings are pairings that either, have no chance of happening, or has a very low one. It consists of two, or more if you'd like, characters being paired up together even though they had never met, or never really interacted with each other. It's really easy to understand, it's basically your imagination trying to pair up people who you know won't end up together (even if you so badly want them to). Unlike canon pairings (which are technically the official couples and all that), it's also not as popular. An example of a crack pairing is StiCy or Sting and Lucy, my lovely, lovely OTP. There is barely any chance of this occurring, even though I wanted it to. FOR YEARS. Examples of canon pairings are NaLu, GrUvia, GaLe, and JeRza, even though none of the big four is "officially" together yet, we all know they'll end up together either way.
