Hi there! This is the final tag from the tagline game in ! The word I was given is "exuberant" so I chose this piece because of the energy and movement you were able to portray, even with a stationary character. :] I also chose it because because this is a wip and I thought you might be interested in receiving some feedback on it before you finish it completely.
To start out, I wanted to point out how nice your background is! I really love the interesting sky and how you are using it to bring all of your colors together in this picture. :] I also really like the textures that are beginning to appear, particularly those in the hair and the feathers on the helmet! The feathers have some interesting light on them that definitely catches my eye and makes them interesting to look at. The direction of the light looks like it is coming from the sunset behind, which is very nice. I would love to see that lighting chose continued on the rest of the character. :] As you finish this piece, it would be really nice to see some highlighted edges on her helmet, shoulder, arm, and maybe even a little on her hair. :] Having said that, I can see that the main light source is coming from in front of her (which is also nice) and I'd love to see that made stronger in some places as well. I don't know how shiny you want her helmet to be in the end, but I think some bright highlights from the main light source would really add to that too.
The shapes and shadows of everything are coming along nicely. The only thing that seems out of place at this point is the bright pink/magenta color of her shirt. I just doesn't quite fit with your color palette. Something a little more red/maroon would work better, even if it's still a bight color. :] I actually really like the brightness of your current color choice, it's just the light pink that's throwing it off a little. If I were you, I would just select it and play around with the hue/saturation adjustment. Maybe also darken the yellow shirt underneath a little, it seems a bit bright for being in such a strong shadow area. :]
Anyway, over all there are a lot of great things happening here and I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product! :]

Thank you so much for the feedback!
I must confess that that yellow shirt is actually the background behind it *cough cough* i forgot to set the shirt layer *cough* genius me *cough* haha
I'll see if i can change the jacket's colour a bit -sadly the pallette wasnt fully decided by me but by the person requesting this, but ill make it work somehow! -

Haha, no worries, I totally do that! :] And yeah, I get that sometimes colors are not really negotiable (like in the case of some art requests). If you can make it a slightly different hue that would help, but if it has to be that exact color, you could always try adding that color into the sky or something so that it match the pallet a little better. :]

Haha, I can't say I've ever thought that, but others probably have.
