Description
I've had this idea swimming around in my head for weeks now! In case I fail at life and it's not obvious (or by chance you've never played the game) this is Vergil from the game Devil May Cry 3 as a WOMAN. I wanted to draw a more feminine version of his outfit as a cosplay alternative...and ended up drawing his female alter ego which I wanted to make look as much like him as possible but a bit more soft.

NOTE: I'm a bit peeved that there isn't a multi-media option for fanart, this is really half traditional and half digital! I used a lot of different things for the drawing process though.
The initial drawing is done on blue-toned Mi-Teintes pastel paper with oil-based faber castell pencil. The line work was done with graphic pen and a brush pen, some of the white was gel pen and white charcoal...all the really dark shadows and effects had to be done in photoshop since my once beloved scanner has betrayed me.

I did get a bit carried away with this... it started out as just the outfit but then I HAD to add Yamato (whom I really didn't do justice) and his shiny aura of glow-y awesomeness. Then I had to add some shadows to THAT. I think I did him justice, even though I gave him Lovely Lady Lumps (rofl). Maybe he'll forgive me one day. I guess I'll know if I wake up at all in the morning.

Yeah, I don't own his character design, Capcom has that copyright.
THIS VERSION OF HIM, however, belongs to me. Not that that really means much of course.

Dante's female alter ego will be coming up soon...then maybe Lady and Trish as DUDES. Won't that be fun?

BTW: It was very difficult to resist giving him a girly and cheesy version of his old name...but if I had to choose...
