Hum.... if you know draw then why steal the work of profesional artists in an official company? Don't mind if you put the original link, you know you and your friends still are stealing their work?

Editing is kind of "stealing" maybe. But we just wanted to do a collab together. I mentioned the original and I always do, most editers don't do it (?). And it's just a collab, I don't know why this piece would be more criticized than another edit from any other "artist".

Believe me, I'm very tired of people who for do collabs use art of other people, I say it cause I was vitcim too, if it's an edit from an screenshot for an anime then I won't say much, cause sadly a lot of people do it instead try to do by themselfs.
A collab means you need use a base? All the collabs I did I did ALL and never used a base, and was as funny as always. You know draw so I can't understand why you need use a base.
Also here, this image, even if you put the original piece, from a private company called Honeyworks. If you and your friends have a company with all your work will like see others tracing over your work? As I said I was victim of that and is horrible.
And if you have another piece traced from other artist then is the same as here. Like the Rboz image you traced.
Is good you put the original but don't change the fact you're still stealing. If you used this image as ref, but all of you drew by yourselves and not trace I won't say something, but this is clear a trace, so I need say something cause Honeyworks doesn't has a DA account and nobody can protect them. And I take down other images stolen from them, cause I admire them.
I know you won't remove this and possibly will ignore my words, but for the next collab will be awesome if you and your friends try to do it by yourselves and have fun, not using other's works.

First of all read you better the things:
Fair Use applies to the REPRODUCTION of items, such as drawing Fan Art or making Merchandise of other characters.
Fair Use gives people the right to quote books or write fanfiction
Fair Use gives people the right to make keychains of their fave characters and sell them at conventions
Fair Use DOES NOT give you the right to TRACE over someone else's work even if you credit the original maker.
And you are trying to apply US laws into a Japanese company?

Well I didn't just "trace" the base, I changed some things but- And I did link the original, so I don't see what is the problem because a lot of people use a base and don't mention the real artist. I think that the word "steal" is not appropriate in that case, because I didn't steal. Like I said, I mentioned them at the end of the post. It's just a collab that we wanted to do-

The problem is you can't steal a draw of another artist and draw exacly the same and please understand THAT ISN'T A BASE, a base is something some artist put for sell or they said is for free.
But that is an ilustration and of course they don't want you or someone else trace or editing their awesome work.
Yes you can do a lots of collabs but draw to yourself or use a base is for free or allowed, please understand you didn't do it good, steal means you catch the same draw and do it for your fun only changing a little things don't mean you didn't steal it, and only mentioning they isn't a solution.
Also you only added the link of the image don't mention the original company, I'm sure if they see what you did will report you

Also that is legal right for USA not Japan where the company is from, lol if you don't know about that don't try to send this, and I definitely recommend you try first to search info about legal terms from Japan.
