7/13/10.thank you for the inspiration . you are an amazing cosplayer as well. =]
this is my first time doing this, and i'm pleased with the result, especially since i do NOT have steady hands at all. now i know what i should do and how to do better the next time i try it.
i had the idea stuck in my head for a year. i drew a rough sketch on paper in like a week. then sketching it on the shoes took about 7 hours. then outlining it with it took about 3 hours. painting and retouching took about 40 hours. lol.
i was thankful that the shoe was green because when i messed up with the paint or the outlines with the fabric marker (i couldn't find a thin one, so i was stuck with the fat one), i would just paint it over.
the colors look better on here than in real life, especially dragonair. xD aipom was a pain in the butt to do. D: it was really annoying at times because certain pokemon didn't fit the way i wnated to, so i had to change the whole layout on one side completely or pick new pokemon. some of those on there were not what i originally wanted, but it made the design work.
used: pikachu, red, noctowl, ditto, haunter, mudkip, hoppip, gulpin, aipom, some bananas, pichu, diglett, dragonair, some berries, cyndaquil, plusle, minun, squirtle, and bellsprout.

haha i haven't worn them yet, but i plan to soon to check it out.
i used acrylic paint and fabric marker. paintbrushes and toothpicks for tiny hard to reach areas haha.

ahaha i like my cyndaquil and dragonair the best. i made mudkip's hands/paws too long.
but ehh, they're my shoes, so it doesn't matter.
but ahaha omg i had to use a toothpick for any little stuff, like those hard to reach areas and whatnot. it was insane. my hands were shaking like crazy. D:

Really though, I think this is some great artwork on what I assume can be a difficult medium if you make mistakes! Still came out awesome! You could sell these and make some serious money I think!! ^_^

haha yeah it was my first time doing it so i learned from how i did these ones. my aunt was telling me the same thing about selling them but i don't really like working under pressure and stuff. but it sounds nice.
