YAAAAAAAAY FIRST LEGIT GIMP DRAWING YAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!I colored the moonlight Georgie picture. It's not the best, but it'll do for my first try at Gimp.

I thought it was pretty good! well, if you still ain't satisfied, ya can make it even bigger, that's what i ended up doin and well, now if you were to get a high resolution print of my stuff, the max size is usually 20"x30" XD

Well I'm gonna color the other three Shakespeare Beatles first just for practice, then probably just some more Beatles stuff, maybe Napoleon Dynamite, and just other stuff I like. c[x Other than that I don't really know. I really want to teach myself to draw realistic people though...

Um, well, I dunno, I just kinda drew it... for the actual shading, I just took the original color, made it darker, and put it where it needed to go, but for the dark spots on the dog, I used a really dark brown and some black, smeared it, then blurred it. I hope I answered your question...

ah coool! Just the lines are really smooth, so I wondered if either you have a very steady hand or theres a tool that creates curves or something or both.. I dont REALLY know if there is a tool that does that because I havent had a proper go at GIMPing - but thanks! I shall have a play around with it more!

Well I do have a tablet, but I don't know anything about a tool that gets perfect curves. I've asked other people about that actually xD I just zoomed in really close and did the best I could. xP

Thanks!! I'm glad to hear it looks good cuz I was so worried it would turn out looking bad. xD Oooh, tell me if that program really does have that if you ever find out! It'd be so helpful!! My tablet is like 15x12 inches, and the part you actually draw on is like 12x9, and it was about 100-120 dollars. Some other tablets I saw were like 300$ and they were smaller too. So I think I did pretty good choosing one out. xD
