There are many versions of anbu Itachi and I wanted to do one of my own.I purposely removed the white anbu gear. The mask is also missing.
Try to imagine this setting: one winter/cold morning in Konoha where Itachi is just enjoying some time on his own. He keeps his katana with him however (I canβt imagine a ninja not carrying a weapon constantly on him). And if you look closely, his name and kanji sign of fire (the one on his Akatsuki ring) are carved on the sheath.
He is holding a red camellia.

Only four colours were used: black, white, red and gold.

For Itachi's age I have to admit I didn't really respect the time line because he is supposed to be 13 when captain of anbu but on the picture he looks more 17ish. ^^' (But I like it that way XD)
As for the camellia, I drew it because it is one of the rare flowers that early blooms (at the end of winter) and I also associate it with Itachi not only for the colour but also because it is very elegant and beautiful.
