1/8th Scaled Momohime from Oboro Muramasa Youtouden; released by ALTER.The moment she arrived at my door, I rushed to take her out and assembled her for a photo. I had read a review on her the previous night, so I really wanted to take a photo of her amongst the small bamboo fence that was nearby. This was one of my favorite shots out of the ones I took. (It was also the last one I took right before my camera battery died.)
The photo was already beautiful before I went and touched it up, but looking at it again, I'm glad I did, as it just seems to add so much more.
Since I haven't uploaded anything in a while, and since all the photos I've been meaning to upload have been scattered across 3 different systems, I thought this would be my update for now to show I'm still alive. Sorta.

Another awesome photo in my opinion. I really like how the colors turned out, and the slight dark vignetter around the image adds a touch of cool. I agree, she is stunningly beautiful!

Thank you~I added the vignette in post-production. I wasn't too sure if it was needed, but I toned it down a bit from how it was originally, and I liked how it helped frame and focus her more. :]

No prob! I think the vignette did a really good job of emphasizing the figure. It also contributed to the "I'm ready for anything" atmosphere of the photo.

I want this figure so badly but it's selling out already, just when I have the money. I gotta get this, Muramasa is one of my favorite Wii games.

Have you tried AmiAmi or HLJ? AmiAmi still seems to have quite an amount in stock, and HLJ just restocked recently, although they're running low.

Haven't tried HLJ, I'd use AmiAmi but they only use PayPal for international orders. HobbySearch is already sold out and J-List's price is spiking already.

HLJ's pretty decent. They're who I usually order from, but AmiAmi has stuff I want that HLJ doesn't have this time around. I can't remember if HLJ is PayPal only as well, or if they have another means...I feel like they have another means, but since I always pay via PayPal, I can't remember...

I'm just now getting used to PayPal as I just used it to order an artbook off ebay. The whole linking bank account thing weirded me out but now I know I don't have to. I always just used my debit card, but I started a PayPal because I was trying to pre-order the Black Rock Shooter DVD off AmiAmi.

Yea. Linking your PayPal is always optional, but I think they do it to ensure your information matches up or something. I personally love using PayPal since I hate having to always type in the long string of numbers.

Yeah I'll do it later as I'm always forgetting my current balance. But my account isn't still under my mom's name since I'm not 18 yet so she never gave me an actual checkbook. So I can't link it now and my paychecks obviously don't work.

Depending on your bank, if you have online banking, they can give you the routing numbers needed when you check your info online. (Well, I know mine does. I'm not sure about others but I assume they do as well so you can order checks when you need it. I don't know a checkbook either.
Linking your Bank acct to PayPal actually doesn't give you the current balance of your Bank acct--it just pulls directly from your acct when you pay, so transactions go through faster. When you get paid through PayPal, that money gets stored in your PayPal, and you'd have the option of whether or not you want to send that into your bank acct.
