Most of the time I am not a fan of sepia toning a black and white photograph, however in this case. I think it works well with this portrait and does not detract from the photograph. In fact I think it adds that extra bit of contrast that would be missing due to the majority of very light shades present in the portrait. You have a good eye and were able to discern that something was needed to make this image stand out when the image was converted from color to black and white.
I think the framing was excellent , and you did a great job getting the attention of the child when you photographed her. Children are very hard to work with at times. Your exposure appears to be good but does appear to be slightly blown out at the top of the dress you possibly could recover some of the detail in the raw file before opening in Adobe Photoshop to correct this. You might also try increasing the black levels slightly.Overall though I give this portrait high marks for originality and creativity in composition, framing and posing. Kudos to you!
