Naimika is a taunka from the Camp Winterhoof tribe. Her tale is a sad one.

From her conception, there has been one death after another of her six brothers. When she is born, her horns are so large, they cut into her mother and she dies from the injuries.

Instead of embracing his remaining child, he turns his back on her, leaving her to be tended by nursemaids. He sees her as the creature who stole his family away.

The nursemaid that tended Mika most was a venerable elder taunka who kept the calf well fed, and often indulged her with treats. By the time Mika was old enough to choose an apprenticeship, she was quite chubby. Seeing how her weight angered her father, she decided to continue growing it. She is offered an apprenticeship in Mulgore with the tauren, courtesy of Gentlebreeze, and learns about the tauren with Breeze's young son, Sablewing.

Mika is a paladin who skins and gathers herbs.

She's also looking to increase her weight and wants to become an immovable obect when it comes to tanking. The markings on her pelt are paints made from the herbs she gathers, and the markings on her horns are carvings by one of the village artisans - proof she is a high chieftan's daughter. The beads in her mane are the only thing she has from her mother - her father destroyed everything she had.
