No, no, your design for the coat definitely looks better! Furthermore if you compare it to the one he wears after the timeskip - which looks like a carpet instead of a coat. xD

I just wanted to test out what I learn from studying composition and color harmony tutorials buy making the picture wider than the sketch so more focus would draw toward Eustass. I Added the trees as a finishing touch to the drawing so it wouldn't look too bland.
