They are definitely mirror characters.
I wrote a story about them for my OTT game last November.
Tira killed Pyrrha's father, and kidnapped her to get her mom to weild the Soul-Eater. But the players rescued her, and Sophie remarried. After ten years of happy families, Pyrrha seeks out Tira for some closure... and gets more than she bargained for.

It all ended happily, funnily enough. Tira's actually a bit less badass now. But they just did a fantastic job with redeeming her, I couldn't leave her unchanged.

And btw... What happened with Tira after SC 5? I mean... I've played it... finished the story... but... then... they all "happily walk into sunset" but there's nothing about Tira... Or did I miss something?

I've no idea about SCV. The 'story mode' was pretty horrific, they really phoned it in.
I knew I could write a much better story, so I did.
I was kinda hoping Pyrrha would end up succumbing to her dark side actually, but that didn't happen. 
They did redeem Tira though; she lost some of her badassery, but she was happier for it. And she's still fairly chaotic.
And my story ended with a four-way Elysium x Hildy x Bella session with Pyrrha's adopted mom... in the Utopia of the Blessed, of all places.

Yeah the ending pissed me off... and the way the story mode was made sucked too... It would be cool if you had chance to play either Patroklos OR Pryrrha... like finish those (20 chapters was it) with each of them... and with Pyrrha you'd get the chance to either go with Patroklos or kill him... and with Patroklos either to kill Pyrrha or go with her...

Apparently the story mode was supposed to be four times longer, but the whole game was rushed a la DA2.
I made Patroklos her suitor instead of her brother... I was praying the players would let Ellie kill him at the end, but they voted to spare him. What an absolute dick he was. I think I hated him more than Sebastardian or Fenris, which is seriously saying something...

So, I'm not the only one who thought SCV's story mode was a massive shitbrick.
It seemed that aside from Patroklos and Pyrrha, everyone else was just demoted to extra, with some not even appearing at all. Granted, Patroklos becomes less annoying by the end of the story, but Namco didn't even bother to try to make us care about these new characters who are just expies of characters we've known and loved.
At least the character creation system was improved.

So many games these days aren't intrinsically bad, but they are horribly rushed. SCV could have been good, DA2 could have been good, but they were released unfinished.
