One night of a cold winter, an army storm the temple and slaughter everyone. Anuia was able to escape by some of his brethren who was also killed during the attack. He doesn't know what was going and why their temple was being attacked, after waiting he return to see the entire temple in ruins strip off anything that was worth. And see the writing on the wall saying "Filth" and "trash". Heartbroken, he buried what left of his fellow monks. Giving them a proper burial. Pray over their grave for ten days in his fasting. He was raised not to take on revenge because it would corrupt the soul and send them to hell. It was conflicted on him because he wants to get his revenge but the second time he wanted to respect the rules.
