You know, thanks to your art piece, I just realized something about Banette that was staring me in the face for nearly ten years: what I thought to be weirdly-shaped eyes are actually covered by what seem to be bangs. Or your drawing style made it look like that.
Now I feel like a ditz... ;_;

I'm 90% sure thats how its supposed to be. xD I like to think I'm good with shading and Pokemon anatomy, so I'm very sure its like that. Plus I analyzed the sugi art a lot.

I think you are spot on the bangs, honestly. I do some analyzing myself, but still end up missing details disturbingly often (like forgetting the yellow spots on Mega Mawile's gaping death jaws and not realizing it until I finished coloring, WHOOPS).
Tomorrow is going be the grass type I think. Curious to see what you'll be drawing next. Β ^^

Ooh. I forgot you're kinda lagging behind a tad bit. Funny grass got mentioned since I just got a Japanese Petilil off Wonder Trade (for some reason, I am on some shortage of those).
Coincidentally, I saw the month roster again. One of my favorite types seems to lie on my birthday... coincidental (it's Water, but Ghost is technically my primary favorite).Β
I do wish you luck on the rest of this. I will be watching and enjoying your original pieces as always.
