After finnishing my "Longing" piece I thought that I might do another one.. So here's my version of the Final Train Scene, where Chihiro, Chuu, that little bird and No Face is one the train on their way to Zeniba.I used a screenshot from the movie as a reference, but only for the base, then I made the cluds, smudging and the rest without looking at the pic.
Since I'm a beginner to drawing things like this it might not be the best you've ever seen.
But I'm proud of it anyway ^_^

Your version of that scene is very well done. I think the train scene in Chihiro is one of most beautiful scenes in all the cinema's history, be animated or not.

The soundtrack fits this scene so perfectly, I love the simplicity of this little screenshot moment.
It's just the little green island, with a sole house, a tree as "counterweight" and the sky, reflected by the sea. Atmospheric.
It's a simple, but impressive picture with beautiful colour hue, catching some dreamlike few seconds by its innocently emphasizing painting style.

I just wanted to say that I am making a cross stitch of your artwork for my textiles project...sorry, i didn't realise that you made this artwork :/ When I was browsing on google images for an image of the train scene/ spirited island, this image came up and li oved it, and thought that i could make a cross stitch of it since i love spirited away, but i forgot about looking at who the artist was, i didn't know that it was fan art, i thought it was just a painted version of hayao miyazaki's work 
umm...so i just wanted to ask if i could use your artwork for my project? It's just an in class assignment on decorative techniques/ textile art, and i decided to do a cross stitch. I will definitely reference YOU as the artist, because i only did a cross stitch version of your artwork and i do not own the actual painted version. the cross stitch won't be published or anything, after i hand it in, and get my grade back, we will all get our projects back and i am going to display and frame it in my room as planned
