Description Camera: Zenit-10
Lens: Jupiter-37 f3,5/135mm
Film: Kodak ProFoto 400 BW
ISO: 400
Shutter speed: 1/60
F-Stop: 8

This picture was taken couple years ago when I just purchased old bargain Zenit-10 with Jupiter-37 lens and tested it the balcony of my apartament. I spent a half an hour waiting for something to happen, watching occasional passengers - they were not too many. And then appeared the strange man with sigarette at teeth pushed on old wheelchair with disabled boy - I thought: that`s it! At the same time by the road a roller girl moved parallel but a little bit slower. Than she started to move faster and came near man with boy. Man saw her and tried to overtake so boy didn`t manage to watch her, but boy stared at her with eyes wide open. I could make a lot of shoots while they are moving - I had enough time, but I wait when they came on the very parallel line: the boy stare and the roller girl. And I made just one shoot. The combination of shutter speed and f-stop was quite accidental. Lens is poor quality too, but I love this shot.

Very nice shot. Riddled with irony.

The mirroring in this shot is brilliant. I also love the strong line diving the frame in the middle, making it look like two separate photos that only work when together. The connection with the child is lovely and the blur of the skater really emphasises the movement and also the difference between the two people on wheels.

great shot. it looks as if the rollerskate girl was trying to make the disabled boy feel bad that he can't skate since he's...well, disabled.
