One more for today. I know I said that I would work on JoeBlue's commission, so I'll try to get at least another page done by the end of the week. For now, here is Laurinya, Karyana's older 'sister' and the black sheep of the family.

Here are the facts about her:

1- Laurinya shares her adoptive mother's traits - having dark green eyes and golden hair - and stands 5'8", one inch taller than Karyana and two inches taller than Kaina.

2- Laurinya has a naturally aggressive personality, doing things on her own and manipulating others into aiding her, rather than requesting help.

3- Though the closest name meaning for her would be 'Laurina', which is derived from the word 'Laurel', her actual name is a porte-manteau of 'Laur' and 'inya', two Sindarin words meaning 'Gold-hair'.

4- In her role-play scenario, her last name was Kuruni, which means 'witch' in Sindarin.

5- Laurinya's alignment is Chaotic Neutral, but shifts to Chaotic Good at times. She is very independant, but cares deeply about her sisters (even though she has trouble showing it) and is a Mother Bear (or in this case, an overprotective aunt) to Dawn and Asha. Though she is in a relationship with Turalyon, she sees it more as platonic and is not willing to commit.

6- Laurinya represents Karyana's id, meaning her unrestrainted ambitions and desires, which explains her recklessness, duplicity and excessive use of force in combat.

7- Though she excels at fire-based magic, her signature weapon is a Moonblade - a frost-enchanted scimitar. Though its power was meant to calm her normally wild an unpredictable nature, Laurinya rarely uses it so the effect is absent.

8- Laurinya shares the most traits with Karyana physically, while Kaina shares most of Karyana's personality. However, she appears as a near-perfect twin to Leara of Myst, which will raise some questions.

9- The scar on her forehead is from the machine used to split Karyana into Laurinya and Kaina, and only one of the two "sisters" had that at a time, serving as a way to show which was the stronger of the two.

10- Laurinya shares Melody Olsen's personality, making it believe that the latter would be the equivalent of the former's personality in the latter's body.
