Description
It's been a while since I drew fanart, and I decided to give it a go through one of my favorite SNES classics, 'Soul Blazer'. The character here is nameless - you choose his name - but in the sequels to the story - Illusion of Gaia and Terranigma - he is referred to as 'The Blazer' or 'The Blader' (as the Japanese name was 'Soul Blader').

The Blazer was an angel sent by God to rescue the world's population - humans, animals, plants - after a king made the mistake of making a pact with a demon lord who turned every being into gold coins to satisfy the man's greed... including the king himself.

The Blazer has the ability to speak with all life-forms, and is accompanied by a Soul Orb that contains the souls of those chosen by God to aid him. During his ordeal, he falls in love with Lisa, the daughter of Doctor Leo, the man who designed the machine that allowed the pact. His signature weapon is a two-handed sword, but I didn't have space to draw it.
