Sorry, Mary Howitt, I've perverted your poem.

Another orchid. I never really knew that orchids came in the carnivorous variety so I was quite obsessed. Plus, I always did like the pitcher variety of the insect-eating plants so these were doubly great. I did like how this one turned out. There's a definite hue to it but I kind of like it. I have several without the hue but I just think it brings more with it.

Heee, that's remarkably all the camera. The camera has some terrific settings for capturing color. I still have issues with whites, sometimes, but even then, I can switch some settings around and have some success. But I love the way this camera picks up contrasts, especially with colors.

Thanks! I loved seeing all the pitchers there. It's not a type of plant I get to see often. Never seen a flytrap either but I always thought the pitchers were the better hunters anyways.
