Yay, apparently I'm not the only person to have an aircraft design with counterrotating pairs of contrarotating pusher-tractor propeller sets*.
Mine is the Junkers R.II, a heavy bomber and later airliner and cargo plane developed between 1919 and 1921 in my It's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow alternate history, notable for making the first transatlantic bombing raids (1922), performing the first non-stop aerial circumnavigation with aerial refueling (1927 in the form of the Junkers R.II-Diesel "World Circler" model), and having an extremely-long service—heavily-modified, nuclearized versions are still in service as of 2019.
