It´s my 200TH submission in dA! Yay! ^^ To celebrate, I used a TOTALLY different style of coloration and shading I don´t use normally. I give a darker look to the Chaotix on this, specially Vector, who looks really bad on this one.
Wasn´t hard, but took so much time.

Well, I used to be quite the Chaotix fangirl back in the day (I even had a character named after Espio in an on-line RPG, and named an e-mail address after one of them--no, I ain't saying which one! 
Mind you, the _original_ version of the Chaotix--as a group of random loners with mysterious pasts who happen to live on the Floating Island and more or less be each others'/Knuckles' friends, and nobody knows much about them (as opposed to a cheesy, more comical, lighthearted trio of detectives. Where's Mighty? and...I miss my mature, sophisticated teenage version of Charmy!)--they always struck me as having a _dark_ streak in there, to begin with. I dunno about the Detective Agency incarnation from Sonic Heroes/Sonic X, but I could see the old 32-X and Archie versions of the characters going "dark" REAL easily. Oh yeah.
They always struck me as...well, technically still good guys, but good guys who were more badarse and antisocial than the goody-two-shoes Freedom Fighters down in their cute little village of furry critters in the lovely forest. You can count on these guys when the chips are _really_ down, but from day to day, they might occasionally lie or trick, in minor ways. They all have something they're holding back...
So when it comes to Sonic characters I could imagine as evil versions of themselves...these guys? Oh yeah. Definitely.

AMAZING!! I oogle over every aspect of this picture. You make Vector actualy look snazzy, You make Espio look mischeviouse And even Charmy looks cool!
I've always had a soft spot for the chaotix, and to see them in this new style, WHOO!!
I have to say, the one who looks the best in my own opinion is Vector!
