Haha, and the curls certainly were difficult to manage as we were transporting the mirror to my grandparents' house (which is quite a trip) - I found myself wishing I'd waited to finish the piece until we were actually there, just so I wouldn't have to worry about it getting crunched by accident.

Thank you! I was trying to match the color scheme of my grandmother's dining room - which was tricky, since I couldn't actually go over there to compare the colors - but it ended up looking very nice in there. ^__^

How does the paper support light and dust on the long term?

The paper will fade slightly over time, but the effect is usually pretty minor as long as the piece is kept out of direct sunlight. However, I'm not quite sure how this particular piece will be affected, since I usually keep my stuff in plastic sleeves or under glass, and of course this one is just open to the air. Hopefully it won't fade too much, though, so my grandparents can keep enjoying it!

Under glass I know it lasts a long time, but open to the air it takes all the dust and you can't clean paper... I hope for your grand-parent it stays as pretty for a long time
