Description
Papercraft commission of the client's characters, Jacob and Xia, having fun watchin’ some fireworks!! I drew them in ink a little while ago, so I was really excited to depict them in cut paper this time.
I tried a few new techniques with the firework-patterned background, which was a fun creative brain-twister, and the rest of the piece came together pretty smoothly. And of course, I always love drawing friends having a good time together. So I’m really pleased with how this one came out!

This is really cool, I love how excited and happy they look, and the composition of having them look up and to the left while the fireworks are shown behind them gets the idea across well and is very clever!
