OLD ART. I'm talking drawn the same weekend as that One Piece Meme old. I'm talking FIRST TIME EVER DRAWING AVATAR FANARTZ EVER old. That's pretty darn old. Although I've left most of it offline, I've done quite a bit of avatar art by now. So uh...yeah. Wow Zuko's scar makes zero sense in these drawings l-lol old artz.

Why didn't I submit this earlier? Honestly it's just kind of a pain in the butt to mess with transferring drawn images to meme boxes. Also I kind of always thought I would color this but then I was too lazy. Yay win. Okay back on that weekend that I drew this thing ALL THAT TIME AGO I made notes and stuff on it in a word doc so I'll paste that here. Let's see what I wrote back before I was really in the avatar fandom, oi...

YAYAYAY I GOT TAGGED FOR AN ART MEME!! THANK YOU STRAW-HAT!!! Oh wait…it was the other meme you tagged me for. Oh well, I did that one too. XD It really is easier to draw in pencil…scanning the pictures into the meme will be an ordeal though. <<;;; HAHAHA my mom took the drawings to look at them while I was puzzling over #10 and I was so freaked out…but she apparently didn’t notice that I was drawing bois in drag. Lol.

MY NOTES, IF YOU CARE:

1. I was kind of horrified when I found myself faced with the task of drag-ifying Zuko. On one hand, who doesn’t love torturing that boy? On the other hand, would my friend kill me? Also, just a disclaimer, I used SO MUCH REFERENCE throughout this entire thing. Not so much for what the people looked like, but ALL THOSE OUTFITS. My GOD. (Also, those drawings of Zuko? I’m not even kidding. This boy has like over 9000 clothes.)

2. Chose Katara partially for the reasons given above, but mostly for (oh damn I don’t know your devart name) the one who got me into avatar in the first place – she’s a proud zutarian. ^_~

3. …..yeah idk. I wear that a lot. Minus the belt. But I got a belt today, so maybe it will be with a belt soon! ….yeah.

4. CATCH YOU CATCH YOU CATCH ME CATCH ME MATTE~ I don’t care if there aren’t cameras in avatar. Suki has one. XD

5. Hahaha the girl outfits in avatar don’t really get much sluttier than Ty Lee at the beach. Yay for children’s programming! Figuring out Zuko’s beach getup for Ty Lee was kinda a pain, especially when I realized that I’d have to cover up that elaborate bottom with the cloak <<;;

6. My thoughts were like “apron! ….no that’s canon. Ninja! ….no wait that’s canon too….” Then I decided just cause the apron’s canon doesn’t mean I can’t draw one anyway. Also, bear. XD

7. Yayayay girls day out! Zuko’s dress here is actually Jin’s. hahaha that’ll be another ticket to hell plz. Poor girl. Her getup was a bit eyebrow raising though. Most of the people in this show wear those tunic things with the slits up the sides, but then most of the people also wear pants underneath. (anyone looking at that pretty girl with the scar as she walks by is liable to get an eyeful o.O) hahaha oh Zuzu I’m so sorry.

8. Oh look it’s the outfit I drew in #4! Hahaha. I wanted to check out the Kyoshi warrior outfit, but uh, Katara and Zuko as Sokka and Suki isn’t really crossing over. XD So I did Edward and Giselle from Enchanted instead. Cause if Edward=Awesome and Katara=Awesome, then Edward=Katara. …..except not really. Haha.
Katara: You’re the fairest maid I’ve ever met~!
Zuko: Stfub. Nao.

9. Rather displeased with the proportioning in this one…the entire thing really is just so….ugh. Not a good panel at all imo. Although I do like the idea of Toph riding on Zuko’s back, even if I don’t like the way I drew it. MORE TOPH + ZUKO = BFFL PLZTHX.

10. I hemmed and hawed for awhile over the various outfits they wear and which ones would be fun to mess with…then I decided to actually pick a theme or something. Borrowing each other’s outfits to survive the different climates…maybe their own Fire Nation/End of the World wear was all in the laundry? Although the fur coat is probably a nice change for Zuko from the lame-o armor, I imagine Katara is dying in all Zuko’s layers, compared to her usual skimpy thing.

11. Maybe now that Zuko’s a girl he’ll actually stand a chance of kicking ass instead of being complete failboat! …..nah. Zuka’s rather pretty, but basically the same old stubborn, relentless, refuse-to-die, honor is everything, warrior with a 3 times too big heart. …yeah. Wants so badly to be a daddy’s girl, but that spot is unfortunately resolved for her baby sister….or would that be brother? Azulon? Hahaha oh god.
The outfit is actually Toph’s Fire Nation getup, without the headband and with the soles of her shoes. She’s supposed to be bending fire out of her kick there….an off balance kick, I realize now. Oi vey…even when I’m trying to make him awesome, Zuko manages to fail at life.

12. AGAIN WITH THE FAVORITE THING. YOU KNOW I CAN’T ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS. So instead I chose someone I wanted to draw Zuko as. Hey, no one said the parallels had to make any sense. Daisy’s crown around his topknot instead of the Fire Lord crown, hahaha. Can his burned and shrived ear actually wear an earring? Hm…

13. LOLOLOLOL POWER PUFF ZUKO!!! ….another ‘real’ girl…..sorta. Idk. If Avatar were Rugrats, or something. This is what you get. …..yeah. <<;;;
