Rayne is an especially proud person. She has a short temper, and tends to blame others. Then, also has a tough time apologizing, causing damage to fragile friendships. Sometimes she can be cold-heated to others. She just loves to tease people as well. Rayne is very cocky and stubborn, but she is also hardworking, and determined. She can be completely loyal and protective of people that she deems worthy and almost like a motherly figure to some. Rayne also tends to ramble on in arguments, and doesn't stop until she believes she's "won". She loves to pick pocket people while they aren't paying attention.

History:
Rayne is a brash young woman that had nothing but bad luck since the day she was born. Even so, she still believes that she is the most amazing person on the planet, which is one of her downfalls. Her father was in the Navy, and her mother, a pirate, which was seen as forbidden. They were both wanted by the navy and thus sent into hiding, which is where Rayne and her twin sister came into the picture. While Rayne was still very young, her parents were found and killed by a Navy assassin, which didn’t know they had children. Rayne and her sister had been playing out in the woods while the incident occurred, and were oblivious to what had happened. Thea, Rayne’s sister, seemed more stoic during the whole grieving process, whereas Rayne was an emotional mess. They were homeless street urchins, fighting to survive. Rayne became a trouble maker and started to dive into what would make her a valuable resource in the future, her thieving skills. Thea on the other hand, noticed a Navy recruit filer and left Rayne without any word to join. This made Rayne’s emotions even more off and caused her to do something very idiotic. She targeted the richest man in the town that they lived in, and decided to steal from him. It was a huge mistake on her part due to her emotional state and lack of experience, she was caught and arrested. Due to being so young, they decided to keep her in the jail for a couple weeks and let her go. The experience changed her mindset and she decided from then she would be the best thief in the world and joined a pirate crew to spite the government that had abused her.
A few years passed and she had found herself a crew that she had grown to love. Her life was full of excitement, plundering, drinking, and romance. Rayne was happier than she had ever been. That is until a ship appeared in the distance. Not only was it a Navy ship, but it was none other than Thea herself. Around her the crew ran like madmen getting the ship prepared for battle, but Rayne just stood there, staring at the beautifully crafted vessel ahead of them. The battle begun the instant that the pirates could board the ship. Then smoke, the clangs of swords, loud booms of guns, blood. Rayne still didn't move, she waited. Finally she saw her target and swung to the other side, landing right in front of Thea. There was no speech between them, only fighting. Rayne felt the contact of her hand hitting her sister's face and it made her smile. The smile subsided when Thea looked up at her with no emotion, not even pain. They fought for a while, no weapons, until they were both exhausted. Ray was so busy fighting her sister that she hadn't noticed that the rest of her crew had either been murdered or captured. The reality set in when a navy solider came up from behind her and put his arm around her neck, holding her there. She struggled but there was no way she could match the man's strength. Fear and confusion hit Rayne and she didn't understand why the solider wasn't killing her, and why he had moved to the side of her. Then she heard a click, which made her head turn back to her sister. As Rayne's wide eyes met with Thea's cold stare a loud bang was heard, then darkness.
Rayne woke up in what had appeared to be a forest. Her heart was banging in her chest and her head felt like she had gotten hit, hard. She looked around and recognized nothing, causing her to freak out more. Then she saw it, a long purple furry tail that split at the end. Was it coming from her body? She stood up and ran her fingers through her hair, but her fingers were met with large ears. She was anxious and had no idea at all what was going on, but she decided on survival first, and looked around. In the distance she noticed others that also seemed to have the same issue she was having, so she decided to go to them. Thus her discovery of the Hostel.
