Personality:
Upfront- Piper isn't afraid to tell the honest truth to anyone. You could say she is brutally honest.
Outgoing- Piper loves to make friends, and harass people. She isn't afraid to go up to people, no matter how intimidating they may seem.
Drunk- Rum is her favorite thing in the whole wide world. She is definitely not a light weight, and drinks quite often.
Flirty- To people she finds attractive, she will flirt. Sometimes she ends up making people uncomfortable, when she notices this, she promptly stops. She at least knows her boundaries.
Know-it-all- Piper likes to brag about how much she knows about navigation and maps.
Brat- Piper is childish, very very childish. Not the good kind either. Sometimes she acts like a toddler that's having a never ending tantrum.
History:
Piper was born and raised in a small merchant town right next to the ocean. With it's main export being fish, her father was a fisherman. Piper never knew her mother, and it didn't really bother her much. She loved spending every last moment of her time on her dad's fishing boat. As a little girl, her father taught her how to live out at sea, mostly by letting her experience it first hand. She became very interested in maps and navigation. For her tenth birthday, her father gave her his lucky compass. The beautiful object was made out of gold, and had pictures craved all around the edges. Being so young Piper never really understood what the cravings on the compass symbolized. Her entire life changed after that day.
It was a fishing trip like every other. They had been out at sea for sometime, fish were becoming harder to find, causing them to go farther out than usual. It was a dark night with a beautiful clear sky. The young Fennekin had been sleeping under the deck for a while now. Piper had awoken in the middle off the night to the sound of pounding above her. Confused, scared, yet curious the young Fennekin went to inspect the noises she heard. She kept in the dark, making the shadows around her, her friends. She opened the latch, just a tiny bit, just barely peeking onto the deck. She saw her father, on his knees. It looked like he was begging to someone. Next thing she knew, the latch that was hiding her flew open. In a flash she was picked up and thrown over someone's shoulder. Piper had no idea what was happening and all she could do was call out for her father. The man, still carrying her walked across a plank to the ship that was boarded right next to theirs. Piper shouted, screamed for her father, but he stayed on his knees.
~Nine years later~
Piper spent her days doing the same routine. Waking up early, reading treasure maps for her captain, navigating the ship, and mostly following orders. She never complained, because she loved her new life. As a pirate, she felt freedom, she felt at home. She had been with her crew for around nine years now. They were her family. She sometimes thought of the past, why her father gave her away, why the pirates wanted her, but she was told never to ask such preposterous things. To this day she still doesn't know the complete truth. Her captain, a Duskull, was her new father. He raised her, he is the reason she is the women she is today. Piper is strong, Piper is smart, but she is still stuck in the past.
How did you come aboard?:
Leaving her crew for another was a very hard decision for Piper. But it was one she had to make. She needed to move on, she needed a fresh start. When she caught word of a new Captain seeking crew mates, she was excited to join. Deciding to take a risk, she met with the new Captain. He was impressed with her navigation skills and decideded to make her his Sea Artist, and his second mate.
So here's to new beginnings.

Piper figured out that the compass that her father had given her was made for a famous pirate. The carvings around it symbolized different events or stories about him.
She has never actually been in a stable, long term relationship.
She can be serious when need be, but mostly she acts like an obnoxious child.
When shes bored she likes to play with her fire, forming into orbs and juggling them.
