well, i think i can spare one day of my life to art instead of school...but anyways, i finally got a semi-break on the hw. i still have a lot to do but not enough to stop me from my true calling XD thus i give thee a special. it's special cuz i wasn't going to update it; i have this thing where i like to keep some of my best work secret (i did this over the summer)...but since i have nothing else to give (due to stupid hw ><
this is all i have. i hope its enough to make up for the lack of a halloween special! ;_; and if i didn't comment or reply on anything, please understand that i am as bussy as hell and only had 4 hours of sleep last night =_= Zzzzzz....this one is very tired right now, and will be until christmas...gah! >< i was so bussy rambling about how life sux that i forgot to talk about the picture XD so um...the picture...its about a guy...stuck in a tree...end. jk XD okay, the truth: the tree (like all my other trees) eats people!! MUAHAHHAHA!! the guy got eaten (somehow) and now his soul is trapped in the tree-thingy and he's trying to escape but he can't. lots of other ppl before him also got eaten XD and their skulls are all that's left of them (that's why there are skulls everywhere). but the flesh and stuff were used to feed the tree, but there's too much food so the leftovers are used to feed the lil silver flowers (that's why there are flowers) and the butterfly likes the flowers. the guy wishes he can fly away at will like the butterfly so he tries to catch it. since his been trapped in the tree for hundreds of years, his kinda insane and in his mind, if he can catch the butterfly, he will become it and fly away, but since that's not gonna happen, his just delusional. thus the title: Delusion of Hope.

This reminds me of the punishment for Suicide in Dante Alighieri's "The Divine Comedy" The soul takes the form of a tree and harpies tare at the bark. The reason for the other skulls could be that instead of just one suicide, it was a mass suicide and the souls are force to linger in one tree together. I love this picture andΒ I am going to give this one 5000 out of 5 stars.

The butterfly can be symbolic of his sanity thus it being the freedom from his insanity/soul eating thingy, that's why he wants to catch it.

also i cant draw people like at all
only landscapes, archatecture and weapons o and animals i make up usually involving mass amounts of scales
