This is a porcelain doll that I made in ceramics class a year ago. She has a movable head and a... er... removable fetus...
Everything was assembled before firing so while you can rotate the head, it can never be removed.

I think that this is something like a fantasy creature with horns. The horn means the same as an arm or a leg-it broke. And now you have to thing about what the author meant with this figure and the title.....

Oh geez. Reminds me of my art class..xD We don't do ceramics, but in art2 we had to do skeletal sketches..and my friend drew a fetus with a parachute bc for some reason the skeleton looked pregnant..long story xD lots of laughs.

Hm.. You know, you might like Gehard Demetz's pieces. He sculpts children, in a pretty unique way, though. Great job making this, though. I'm surprised the head can move. That must have taken a while.

Hmm, really interesting, unique piece. Like a ball-jointed-doll that got impregnated and beat by a macabre-stick until she got all twisted and broken and soulless. The empty eyes, spot of blood, and moveable head and fetus give it more awesome. I didn't know you could fire it together and still have the body and head be able to be separate. Cool.
