Augh....I was procrastinating (again) on studying for finals so I was going to do my 3rd entry for the Wacom contest (view my 2 submissions here [link] and [link] ) but it just didn't come out right. I started doodling out of frustration and this weird image came out instead. I think I like this slightly sketchy style but it was totally unplanned; maybe it crawled out of my subconscious XD
And yes, I know it looks like something from Loveless.

I'd be torn.
I want to be a cat because they're quick and agile, but I want to be able to fly, too (not necessarily as a butterfly though...).

Hmm...if I think about it.Maybe...just maybe, the reason why the cat killed the butterfly is probably because the cat envied that butterfly's ability to fly or something like that.I dunno, just a guess.Also when I see this work of art, I kinda found myself comparing the cat's enviousness to us, humans.When we envy someone, do we try to destroy them just like the cat did to the butterfly?Out of envy?Just like that?
Okay.I think I know the answer but ah well, forget it.
