I was reading a random shojo I found and there was this one line in it that said, "Dreams and memories. They can't be trusted because they both lack reality" or something like that. And I thought it would be something Kai, the realist, would say to Sen. I dont know. I just thought it was Knites-ish

Memories are the only reality we have.... that doesn't seem to make sense. But I've seen that message a lot in Western culture. That inability to trust the past. In a movie called Retribution there's this line "The past is all an illusion. It only confuses us."

Anyway the art lol. You did a good job with the coloring and shading softly, but I believe for you it would be helpful to think about the light source more. But I like the soft lighting effects. Keep practicing your hair too, and remember it's not a cluster of stiff spokes, but a bunch of individual soft threads clustered together. Good job though

Thanks for the feedback Im usually too lazy to draw hair as different strands unless Im painting with traditional media. Yes, I know, its not good to be lazy but I am I just Gaussian Blur it all together

No, I didn't forget to erase the red around his clothing. I tried to make it look like the actual pictures in Knites, where the red kind of "glows".

I think they did that on purpose becuase in Knites the artist kind of makes some colors like that If you haven't read it, I strongly suggest it. You can find it here on DA.
